In particular, this limited edition watch of 1901 pieces celebrates the birthday of the creators of Burt Munro’s record-setting motorbike, the Indian Scout. Burt Munro set the under 1,000cc world speed record of 184.087mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967. The record was set on a 1920 Indian Scout motorcycle that Burt Munro famously spent 20 years modifying himself.

The vintage brown leather strap continues the sporty aesthetic and contrasts the polished finish of the 44mm stainless steel case and the masculine look of the large tachymeter scale bezel. On the case back of this Baume et Mercier Clifton Club Indian Limited Edition watch is a stunning detailed engraving of the Indian Motorcycle logo and the year 1901 for when the company was founded. Hidden within is the impressive Valjoux 7750 self winding movement which boasts a power reserve of 48 hours and provides incredible chronograph function.
